why do you always have this at the top? is it so you get notified when others comment? or is it automatic

Great atmosphere at the game. Packed house and rowdy. Tons of energy and buildup in the first with the crowd and the players. Marty was booed every time he touched the puck which was great, during the video tribute it started with some boo birds but turned to cheers halfway thru to a standing ovation at the end when he came on the ice and the screen said Thank You Marty. It was like the all the fans moved on right then and there. And the Lightning song choice for the tribute was so great Bastille "Pompeii"

Oh where do we begin?
The rubble or our sins?
But if you close your eyes,
Does it almost feel like
Nothing changed at all?
And if you close your eyes,
Does it almost feel like
You've been here before?
How am I gonna be an optimist about this?
How am I gonna be an optimist about this?
If you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?
Eh-eh-o eh-o

Recognize the past but not forget how it went down at the end. I liked that. Lightning staff do a great job on game day.

Side note I found interesting. Stamkos then Bishop and then Callahan get the loudest ovations and cheers at the arena every game but for some reason I think subconsciously the fans were given Callahan the loudest cheers last night. It was like look Marty he came not of his own accord but yet he stayed. I found it interesting.

The Rangers fans had no chance last night and didn't even bother to try and chant, it was loud don't know how it came across on TV. You could see the players on the bench were really into the crowd, it was playoff atmosphere which I loved.

I am very glad that game is over with. I'm also quite glad we got the two points out of it. Let's just put the Martin St. Louis stuff to bed now shall we?

Brewer traded to the Ducks for a 3rd round draft pick this coming year. Seeing as how he sat 5 of the last 6 not surprised at it going down but am surprised we traded D depth, I guess he just didnt want to sit and Yzerman made the trade for the betterment of the locker room. Looks like Paquette is staying up with the big club.

I also think the Bolts might let Drouin play for Canada in the WJC, let him get the top line minutes play a ton then bring him back and work him into a permanent line spot. He is not needed right now really for the Bolts.

I wonder if the Bolts are done dealing, I think they are right now but towards the trade deadline its going to get interesting. They have so much depth right now and if they need a piece to make a long playoff run I see them doing it. Its great to be a Bolt fan right now...

Great move. Brewer can be a pylon on the LA freeways now. 3.8 mil freed up as well. Carle take notice

Agreed. I never thought I would say this, but we have enough depth in defense now that a player like Brewer became expendable. Good move. Now we have more cap-space to work with. And yes, I hope Carle took notice and elevates his play accordingly. Or, he might find himself on the next plane to Alberta.

I didn't see it before but we retain 26% of his salary so cap space freed up is only 2.875 but we keep getting younger and faster plus another pick for the future. Good luck to Brewer
